My story of recovery started in the middle of COVID. My sister reached out to me and arranged a call with Morgane. I wasn’t able to fly to South Africa due to restrictions. Although I couldn’t go to Liberty Home, Morgane guided me in the treacherous world of rehabs. I went to primary care in Scotland and Spain before I could finally travel to Cape Town.
When I arrived, I knew how to stay clean, but in Liberty Home, I learned to implement this knowledge in my life while pushing myself to improve who I am.
The fact that I gradually got my freedom back made it possible to adjust my mistakes before they could harm me.
But I want to end with the fact that I’m not only clean but also happy.
